Kincsem Park has regained its former luster

Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky presented the trophy of the Kincsem Stakes at the Kincsem+ TUTI International Horse and Greyhound Racing Festival and Food Truck Show in Kincsem Park, Budapest on Saturday, 2 September. On the day of flat races (gallop), which was attended by several military attachés as well, the guests were given an insight into not only equestrian sports but also the life of the Hungarian Defence Forces.
Pakistani Chief of the Air Staff visits Hungary

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force is staying in Hungary on a four-day official visit. As part of his program, the Pakistani general was received with military honors in the Ministry of Defence on Monday, 28 August.

On Wednesday, 12 July, Ministerial Commissioner for Defence Innovation Brigadier General Dr. Imre Porkoláb spoke about the importance of air defence and the current stage of the development of the armed forces in the program “Ma reggel” (Today morning) of Hungarian TV channel M1, in connection with the debut of the Hungarian-developed ProTAR Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system early this week. According to the brigadier general, the new technology significantly reduces the costs of training.

The Székesfehérvár-based Headquarters Multinational Division Centre (HQ MND-C) and its support element demonstrated their preparedness on the international Exercise Strong Bastion 2023 in late June. The Canadian CAE, a high-tech firm at the leading edge of digital immersion, celebrated the 75th anniversary of its foundation in Normafa Event House, Budapest on Monday, 12 December. Having a Hungarian subsidiary company since 2009, this high-tech firm has been working to contribute to the successes of the Hungarian Defence Forces at several points beyond development: through its NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC) program to the training of fighter pilots, through the production of simulators for the training of Airbus A319 pilots, and through the simulator training provided for H145M helicopter pilots.
