The two countries established diplomatic relations 60 years ago and continue to cooperate in numerous fields today. Hungary supports Lebanon in reaching security and stability; Hungarian soldiers also serve in the UNIFIL mission, among others. The ambassador told us that she is returning to her homeland after a 16-year foreign service. Out of this, she spent nearly eight years in Hungary, during which she grew attached to our country.
