In the air from tomorrow

Organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM) – an organization bringing together 150 member nations – the championship is to be held again in Hungary after 2018, with the participation of close to 300 athletes from 32 countries. The competitors in the individual category are going to execute style jumps from an altitude of 2200 meters, while the competing teams will demonstrate various skydiving formations, jumping at an altitude of 3200 meters. The Hungarian Defence Forces will contribute H145M and H225M helicopters to the competition in support of the jumps.

We await everyone at the Szolnok-Szandaszőlős Sports Airfield between 4 and 11 July 2024. Let us cheer together for the national parachute team of the Hungarian Defence Forces!

The opening ceremony of the event of significance in sport history will start in Hild Square, Szolnok at 09:00 on Wednesday, 3 July.
