Warship crews of three nations on River Tisza

In accordance with traditions, this year the Hungarian-Serbian joint warship training Live-Fire Exercise was carried out again. It was the participation of Romanian warship crewmembers that made the conduct of the training event special on the water shooting range of Titel, on the Serbian reach of River Tisza in late September: the nominated personnel of the Romanian Danube Flotilla joined the exercise in observer status.
Hungarian officer attends air defence training in the USA

Lieutenant Milán Kacsmarik, an officer of the HDF 205th Air Defence Regiment recently participated in the Air Defense Artillery Basic Officer Leader Course (ADA BOLC) organized for US Air Defense Artillery (ADA) officers at the Fires Center of Excellence, Fort Sill army training base, Oklahoma, USA. The objective of the almost two-month training was to prepare young officers for their Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Platoon Leader position, while providing them with a comprehensive picture of the core leadership principles and professional tasks of this branch of service.
French Soldiers at Hódmezővásárhely

Baltic Air Policing for the fourth time

The personnel of the 69th rotation of the Hungarian Defence Forces Baltic Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) Detachment – stationed in a lead nation role at Šiauliai Air Base, Lithuania – are about to start performing air policing tasks for the fourth time as of 1 August. The airmen are already preparing on the spot for executing the tasks of the next four months, with several of them serving at the base not for the first time.

Hungarian and American SOF soldiers conduct joint exercise
