The commander of the HDF Sport Company is currently the head police & military commissioner at the Police & Military Commission of the European Judo Union, and at the same time a member of the Military and Police Commission of the International Judo Federation.

With the new engineering capability of the armour corps, the Land Forces of the HDF are further strengthened.

MILEX 2025: Strengthening European Defence Capability

Soldiers from 13 nations, the crackle of gunfire, heavy machine guns and impressive vehicles: such is MILEX 2025. The European Union’s grandiose exercise is hosted by Hungary this year, including the Hungarian Defence Forces’ Central Shooting Range and Training Area. The Hungarian Defence Forces are represented by the infantrymen of the HDF 1st Armoured Brigade with their Gidrán multipurpose armoured vehicles and Carl Gustaf anti-tank weapons. The exercise commanded by Eurocorps is attended by more than 800 soldiers.
