Upon the invitation of László Hajnik, MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy, David Baker, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Policy of the U.S. Department of Defense visited Budapest between 16 and 17 April. Hungarian Gripens at NATO’s largest-scale air exercise

Five JAS 39 Gripen aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces have recently deployed to Skrydstrup Air Base, Denmark. The fighter jets are participating in the multinational tactical-level, live-fly Exercise Ramstein Flag 2025, which is being conducted in the airspaces of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark until 11 April – said the Ministry of Defence.
