Carrying aboard110 people evacuated from Tel Aviv, the Airbus A319 transport aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces landed at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest a couple of minutes after 13:00 on 9 October.

Seventeen members of the Budapest Military Attaché Corps (BMAC) recently paid a visit to the HDF 101st Aviation Wing. During the visit, the representatives gained an insight into the organizational structure and task system of the unit, and then learned about the capabilities of the JAS 39 Gripen fighter aircraft at static and dynamic displays.

First two H225M helicopters arrive in Szolnok

On Monday, 17 July the first two Airbus H225M helicopters arrived at the Szolnok airbase of the HDF 86th Helicopter Wing. The Hungarian Defence Forces have placed an order for altogether 16 H225M medium-lift helicopters in the framework of the armed forces development program.
