All Hungarian soldiers are important

Hungarian soldiers played the main role at two transfer of authority ceremonies in Bosnia-Herzegovina on the same day. On 11 May in Camp Butmir, Sarajevo, two Hungarians, a brigadier general and a colonel relinquished the chief of staff positions of both EUFOR and the local NATO Headquarters to another Hungarian brigadier general and colonel respectively. Also in attendance at the ceremonies were Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi PhD, Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces and Dr. Gáspár Maróth, National Armament Director.

Discussion on expanding Slovenian–Hungarian bilateral military cooperation

On 6 May, Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi PhD, Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces held a discussion in Slovenia with Major General Robert Glavaš, Chief of the General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces on tightening Slovenian–Hungarian bilateral military cooperation. During the official visit, the two sides discussed the tasks related to the Russo-Ukrainian War that affects the two countries as well, and the possibilities for expanding the scope of bilateral military cooperation between Slovenia and Hungary.

The Headquarters Multinational Division Centre (HQ MND-C) in Székesfehérvár, Hungary has reached a new level of progress, gaining the status of International Military Headquarters and becoming part of NATO Force Structure on 03 May 2022, based on the Activation Document issued by the North Atlantic Council in Brussels.
