Hungarian soldiers serving at the Forward Operation Base UNION III Baghdad, the headquarters of NATO’s international coalition forces recently received the NATO Mission Iraq Non-Article 5 medal of merit awarded by the Secretary General of NATO at a medal parade held to mark the end of their six months of service. Lieutenant General Jose Antonio Agüero Martínez, Commander of NATO Mission Iraq, praised the self-sacrificing service of the awarded personnel in his speech and gave thanks for their high-quality performance in all common tasks.

The goals of the Serbian–Hungarian experts’ meeting were to discuss military-to-military cooperation and to sign the Serbian–Hungarian Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan 2024.
